Board and Train

Four to six weeks, full-time, living with Shawn. The dog trains daily in real places: sidewalks, stores, parking lots, parks, never in a kennel run. Shawn collects your dog from your door and delivers him back himself, so he has seen the household before the first day of work. Three reintegration sessions at your home follow, because the dog has to learn the new terms in the place he lives. Until he does not. A dog who blows the line after a deer gets a correction on the way out and another on the way back, which is a good way to teach him that leaving is bad and returning is worse. The wire is containment. It is not a relationship.
